Mikko Ryhänen is a Helsinki based photographer who has captured the images for our recent collections. Mikko’s city and landscape pictures were shot on film in our hometown of Helsinki at various moments over the years. We first talked about commissioning him to shoot the raw beauty of our city, but soon found out that he had been doing so all along by himself.
So, we ended up using his back catalogue of images, shot on film as a personal mission over the years. Perfectly setting the mood that we wanted to portray – an unfiltered beauty of the changing seasons and moments that come along, portraying a ‘Through the rough seas’ feel of Helsinki.
