Since 2001, we’ve designed clothes to stand the test of time (and withstand the Nordic elements). Now, 25 years later, it’s time to put that journey through the rough seas into a single collection.
The Makia 25 anniversary collection includes some of our most beloved prints from the last two and a half decades, alongside new items with prints that pay tribute to our roots in the dockside Helsinki.

"When Makia was born 25 years ago in a small basement in Helsinki's Punavuori, our goal was to make clothes that stand the test of time and take on whatever everyday Finnish life throws at them. If someone had told us back then about the storms that lay ahead, we might have thought twice. But as our slogan puts it: "Through the Rough Seas." Over the years, we've had the honour of working with countless respected brands and talented artists and designers. Now, to celebrate our anniversary year, we're bringing back the best-loved pieces from these collaborations."
