Living off the Land: Introducing the Lingon Capsule
 
The Scandinavian nature can be challenging at times. But while demanding, it never forgets to give. Every summer, our woods are filled to the brim with berries. This capsule is a tribute to lingonberry, the late bloomer of the Northern woodlands. In season from late August to early October, lingonberries’ slightly acidic and tart taste has made it a staple in Finnish cuisine, often served as a condiment with classic meat dishes.

The Lingon Capsule’s four prints all pay homage to lingonberry’s evergreen, leathery leaves and the instantly recognizable ruby-red berries. In selected prints, you’ll also find a bee buzzing next to the lingonberry, alongside the tagline “Let it Bloom”. This is a reminder to us of our responsibility to take care of the nature that has, for so many years, taken care of us.
