That’s what friends are for
Valentine’s Day is not just about romance. It’s also about friends. We’re lucky because we’ve got a whole bunch of them here at the office (some of which you can see in the photo). And that's something worth holding on to.
By nature, friendship is a two-way streak. When things are good, friends are there to celebrate with you, and when things are bad, they’re there to get you through the rough seas – and vice versa.
Remember to check in on your colleagues and friends every now and then. That's what friends are for. Friends may not be the ones who can (or even should) fix the problems we face, but they can offer a helping hand. Or, as the President Sauli Niinistö recently put it:
- We should keep an eye out for our friends and those who we spend our time with. If someone starts showing signs of exhaustion, a little encouragement and being there for them can make a big difference.
