For a good cause

Over the past few years, most of our charity donations have been channeled towards preserving the condition of the Baltic Sea. In 2019 Makia donated a total of 56900€ to charities like the John Nurminen Foundation, Keep The Archipelago Tidy Foundation, and others.

In 2020 we have worked with the Finnish Association For Nature Conservation, JNS Foundation, PSS Foundation, Good Mood Association, and Apuna Ry.

Man-made emissions are a real threat to our global ecosystem, and we recognize the impact that the clothing industry has on our planet. This is why we need to constantly keep improving ourselves towards a more sustainable future. Read more about our practices here
