Remember Me
No products in the cart.
Like every clothing brand, we sometimes get left with clothes that don’t make it to use. It’s a common problem in the industry: no matter how well you optimize your buying, there can still be unsold inventory. Instead of fire sales that can promote unnecessary buying decisions, we address the issue with the MAKIA ARCHIVE store concept.
The Archive is our way of giving these almost-forgotten clothes a new moment in the spotlight. The Archive stores, shop-in-shops, and the newly opened online Archive section feature re-priced size and style leavings from previous seasons, samples, one-off production styles, and rarities. All high-quality and in perfectly good shape – just a bit old.
Part of the profits from Makia Archive sales is donated to charity. Among our current partners are Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association and John Nurminen Foundation. At the moment, we are working on upcoming partnerships that will focus on community causes. Stay tuned for more information next year.
