The sailors from 15th century used to oil and grease their sails to protect them from getting heavy and wet.
Out of the worn sails they would cut waterproof capes to keep themselves dry. Later waxed cotton became and instant success with the shipping and outdoor industry.
Rub the Makia Harbour Wax into fabric and heat with iron or blowdryer for a finished waterproof surface. Let it dry for 24h in a cool and dry place. Note: A weathered appearance and colour variance is typical for waxed fabrics.
